FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the Startup Community Summit?

Startup Community Summit 2026 is a one-day, invite-only summit that brings together 350 curated founders, investors, and community builders from across Poland and CEE. It is organised by Startup Community Poznań and held at Concordia Design in Poznań.

When and where does the Summit take place?

The Summit takes place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 (08:30–16:00, afterparty until 22:00), at Concordia Design, ul. Zwierzyniecka 3, 60-813 Poznań, Poland.

How much does a ticket cost?

Attendee passes are 666 zł until 10 September, 865 zł until 7 October, and 1125 zł after that, up to the event on 21 October 2026 - the price at checkout is the price on the day you pay. Curated exhibitor booths are priced separately: Demo Alley from 1499 zł, Startup Valley from 2999 zł, and Ecosystem Village from 4499 zł. All prices shown are gross (brutto) - the final amount you pay, with nothing added at checkout.

Who is the Summit for?

It is built for six groups: founders and co-founders, VC partners and associates, business angels, community and ecosystem leaders, corporate innovation leads, and senior startup operators. You pick the group that describes your day job when you set up your profile, and every match we suggest is built from it. There are 350 seats in total and each group is capped, so the balance of the room stays deliberate.

Which industries or sectors do you accept startups from?

The Summit is cross-sector - we welcome startups from any industry, whether that's an FMCG company ready for investment or an early-stage AI product still in development. If you are building more than one company, focus your application on the one that is your current priority. As founders join, we deliberately invite the people who make the room valuable for them - including Corporate Innovation Leads who can become partners or first customers, and investors matched to each team.

Will there be investors, and are they only from Poland?

Yes - investors are a core part of the room. We invite VC funds from both Poland and abroad. Business angels from Poland will be present, and we are also working to bring international angels to the Summit.

How do I get a ticket?

You buy it online in a couple of minutes - there is no application and no waiting for a decision. Your account is created the moment the payment clears, and an email brings you the activation link, your invoice and the way into matchmaking. Tickets are 666 zł until 10 September, 865 zł until 7 October, and 1125 zł after that, and sales close when the 350 seats are gone or on 21 October 2026, whichever comes first.

What language is the Summit in?

The Summit is held in English and Polish.

What is the difference between Demo Alley, Startup Valley, and Ecosystem Village?

Demo Alley is for up to 10 early-stage teams showing a product that works. Startup Valley is for 5 investment-ready, growth-stage companies next to the Investor Lounge. Ecosystem Village is the expo floor for communities, accelerators, institutions, and corporate innovation teams.

How does matchmaking work?

Ticket holders unlock relevant profiles and suggested matches before the event, then book 30-minute 1:1 meetings in advance - so you arrive in Poznań with your strongest conversations already scheduled.
